High Power® Sports is a ministry of Base Sports which exists to train the local church in using sports as an authentic ministry tool. Basically, we’re here to serve and equip you. We have the tools and experience to help you effectively reach kids and families through sports, no matter your level of expertise.

High Power Sports has designed an exciting VBS-style sports camp that can be run by ANYBODY! No matter the size of your church, the skill of your church, or the location of your church you can run a successful sports camp. Here are the major parts of a High Power Camp:

  • High Energy Zone Times - The Zone times are large group times where Biblical truths can be introduced and reinforced throughout the day. These exciting times include relevant children's worship songs that reinforce the themes children are learning!

  • Flexible and Solid Sports Instruction - There are many options for developing sports times that focus on skill development. Our High Power Sports curriculum gives two distinct options. The first is a simple 10 station rotation that anybody can teach. The second is a more customizable option that allows for children to learn the skills of the sport they are participating in.  

  • Relevant Bible Teaching - Each High Power theme includes a number of ways to reach different types of learners. Each day consists of a Bible Story, Sports Story, and Object Lesson that revolve around a daily theme.  

  • Fun Game Times - Each day includes a fun game time that teaches character development and good sportsmanship to High Power Campers. For most sports this includes a scrimmage which teaches healthy competition and good sportsmanship. 

  • Personal Small Groups - High Power campers will be placed on their own team. Your volunteers will coach one of these teams and have intentional times to sit down and share their life stories with the children. This unique opportunity allows for coaches to really build into the lives of the campers.  

We have designed our entire program to be flexible and work best for your church. Even the options for camper materials and coach's materials are flexible to fit your budget. The materials are created to further the biblical instruction of your campers.
